Ich Liebe Dich, Deutschland

I'm not too great at learning languages, but I've always wanted to be bilingual. I tried Spanish, but it was too much of a pain. Then I tried learning Japanese, but I'm too much of a nerd as it is. And, sadly, Pig Latin doesn't count. So now I'm trying a language that shares part of it's dictionary with my native language, English. Wish me luck, mein Freunds.

Does Not Compute

I desperately need a computer. As awesome as the Droid is, using it as a PC isn't working out too well. What about this one?

It's perfect, isn't it? Beautiful.

Global Thermonuclear War

Source: Unknown
I've kinda started to listen to The Thermals. Not really sure why I like them, since I usually don't listen to their type of music. But they don't have many songs I don't like. My favorite is probably "When I Died", or maybe "No Culture Icons".

Rad.

Activate the Nitro-me

All of the sites I'm a regular on seem to be lacking updates. Nitrome, you need an update. And I want to know what this game is.

Damn it Nitrome, don't keep me waiting. It's been so long since they've had a new one.

Droid Does.

I love my Droid. Greatest phone ever. It has Flash Player, can connect to a PC, has so many games, awesome toys, and more things I have yet to discover.

I really think that the only thing wrong with it is that you can't add new alert sounds for texts. Of the ones provided, the "DROID" alert is the best. But it's pretty freaky.

When I first got it, I never muted it. So when I went to sleep, it sometimes went off. Well, one night, I was in total darkness, and drifting off the sleep. Out of nowhere I heard "DROID" sound off, and I shot straight up and started freaking out. Luckily, I have no annoying roommates to film me freaking out.

Twilight Waker? Oh, Or Maybe Wind Princess.

I kinda want to get Legend of Zelda: The Skyward Sword. The graphics look pretty crappy, as would be expected when they described it as "a hybrid of graphics from Twilight Princess and The Wind Waker."

The graphics aren't so much the reason as the gameplay. I loved the swordplay in Wii Sports Resort, and apparently the swordplay in SS is based on the engine used in Sports Resort. And on top of that, I've always wanted to try shooting with a first-person view on te Wii. Just sounds so... Awesome.

Spider-Cow, Spider-Cow...

I remember someone sent me a video a while back, and when I saw it, the only word I could use to describe it was "trippy". The video kinda speaks for itself, so go ahead and watch it.

I'm not the only one that's afraid of cows now, am I?

"FRIENDSHIP!"

Source: Unknown
Today, I'm thinking about web comics. Not sure why, exactly, but I am.

Anyone ever read HiNaBN? Or maybe VG Cats?
Okay, maybe not. But you must have seen Cyanide and Happiness. Everyone has seen at least one of them floating around. If you didn't, I don't like you. At all.

They are, much like the subject of my last two posts, extremely awesome, as over used as the word is. But Tessa and Scott need to update their comics. I hate waiting around for them.

Geez, I'm a sucker for offbeat characters.

Jhonen, You Genius, You

Okay, so I've got to think of something off of the top of my head. My last post was introductory, which is a habit of mine. So I've got to post something that's not just scattered thoughts. I'm not too great at that. But I suppose I'll have to try.

Source: Unknown
Yesterday, I mentioned Jhonen Vasquez, the creator of Invader Zim. Well, the reason I love him so much is not just because of Zim, although that's not a bad reason at all. No, Zim is just half of why I love him so. The other half is a comic of his, JTHM. The comic isn't exactly school appropriate, so I'm not going to really explain it. Look it up for yourself. Suffices to say that it is the epitome of epic.

Well, that's all I can think of.
So I'll be going now.

... Seriously, go away.

I Love You ZIM

Alright, so here's the deal. I'm in a multimedia class at school, and part of the class is blogging. I'm not too good at coming up with ideas, so I'll probably post what ever happens to be on my mind. And this happens to be on my mind right now:

I must say, I love Dilworth. He made one of the most awesome shows from my past, Courage the Cowardly Dog. Even so, Jhonen Vasquez is still my favorite animator. No one can deny how awesome Invader Zim is.

I love you Zim.
